Ms. Megar graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University (major in political science, 2018) and from Boston University School of Law (2021). During law school, Ms. Megar worked as a student attorney for the Human Trafficking Clinic and was a member of the Public Interest Law Journal. In addition, Ms. Megar served as a judicial intern in the Chelsea District Court, worked as a summer associate at a law firm in the Greater Boston area, and spent two years as a research assistant to an Associate Clinical Professor at Boston University.
Before joining Lee & Rivers LLP in 2022, Ms. Megar served as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, serving Bristol, Barnstable, Dukes, and Norfolk Counties. In this role, Ms. Megar researched and drafted judicial orders, judgments, and memoranda, and worked closely with Probate and Family Judges to reach decisions concerning alimony, property division, child-support, child custody, and various probate related issues.
Ms. Megar is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts. Ms. Megar has been recognized by Massachusetts Super Lawyer as a “Rising Star” in Family Law for 2023.
