Holly A. Hinte is a partner of Lee & Rivers LLP.
Ms. Hinte is a summa cum laude graduate of Radford University (2008) and a cum laude graduate of New England Law ǀ Boston (2011), where she received the New England Scholar Award, the Dean’s Scholarship, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Juvenile Law and served as the Executive Comment & Note Editor of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. During law school, Ms. Hinte interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, served as a research assistant and as an Honors Judicial Intern at the Middlesex Probate and Family Court, and spent her final year of law school interning for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office as a student prosecutor.
Ms. Hinte is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. Ms. Hinte is included in Best Lawyers in America in Family Law for 2024 and 2025. She has been recognized as a Massachusetts “Rising Star” by Boston Magazine and the Super Lawyer publication (2017-2023). She has received the highest Avvo rating possible (10.0 Superb) as a family law attorney. Ms. Hinte is listed in Boston Magazine as a “Top Lawyer” in family law for 2022-2023.
Before joining Lee & Rivers LLP, Ms. Hinte served as a Judicial Fellow (2011-2012) and a Judicial Law Clerk (2012-2014) to the justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. In this capacity, Ms. Hinte drafted complex legal writing assignments and worked on a variety of domestic relations, probate, and equity matters in the Suffolk, Middlesex, Essex, Plymouth, and Worcester divisions of the Probate and Family Court.
Ms. Hinte has co-authored two Amicus Briefs involving issues of first impression in Massachusetts (Chin v. Merriott and DeMarco v. DeMarco). Ms. Hinte has moderated numerous panels & has lectured on domestic relations topics for the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association. Recent panels include: Post-Trial Submissions in the Probate and Family Court (MBA March 2021); Elevating the Family Law Bar (MBA 2020-2021); and Best Practices for Conducting a Zoom Trial (WBA December 2020). Ms. Hinte has been a co-chair of the MBA’s annual Family Law Conference since 2016.
Ms. Hinte is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Family & Probate American Inn of Court, the Greater Boston Family Law Inn of Court, the Boston Bar Association, Greater Newburyport Bar Association, and the Essex Bar Association. Ms. Hinte served as Chair of the MBA’s Family Law Section Council from September 2020 to September 2022. Ms. Hinte is also a member of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission’s Family Law Committee Task Force, a member of the Probate and Family Court Rules Committee, and a board member of the Massachusetts Family & Probate American Inn of Court. Ms. Hinte was recently appointed as a member of the 2024-2025 Massachusetts Trial Court Child Support Guidelines Task Force.
