Kaitlin M. Mitchell

Ms. Mitchell is a 2015 graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where she was recipient of a Trustee Academic Scholarship and worked in the Education Advocacy Clinic, representing indigent students and families in special education matters and writing legislative and policy initiatives on education issues in Massachusetts public schools. During law school, Ms. Mitchell also interned for Chief Justice Angela Ordoñez of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court and was a Law Clerk at the firm of Wilson, Marino & Bonnevie, P.C. She is a 2012 graduate of Villanova University.

Prior to joining Lee & Rivers LLP, Ms. Mitchell was a Judicial Law Clerk (2015-2017) for the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, working in Worcester, Norfolk, and Middlesex counties. In this role, Ms. Mitchell worked in collaboration with the Justices on a day-to-day basis. She researched and wrote on complex issues of divorce and probate law, provided legal and factual analysis to the Justices, and drafted memoranda and decisions on all areas of family and probate law, including adoption, contempt, equity, guardianship, modification, probate, and trust matters.

She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.
